Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a musical based on the 1964 children’s novel by Roald Dahl. The classic story follows the opening of Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory, where a select few golden ticket winners embark on a mesmerizing joyride through the facility. Charlie Bucket is one of those chosen to experience the wonders of Wonka. Viewers are invited to follow his journey as his bland life takes a turn towards sweetness, into a world of pure imagination.

The award-winning performance opened in the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London in May 2013. After production closed in January 2017, a reworked version of the show opened on Broadway in the spring at Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
